Spy x Family Season 3 reportedly set for Fall 2025 release

On Thursday, December 19, 2024, several reports online claimed that Spy x Family Season 3 is scheduled to air in Fall 2025. WIT Studio and CloverWorks have yet to make an official announcement on this. However, it is to be expected that more information on the same will be revealed at Jump Festa 2025.

Spy x Family, written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo, is a Japanese manga series that has been serialized on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ platform since March 2019. Up till now, the manga has been collected into 14 compiled volumes and has over 35 million copies in circulation.

Spy x Family Season 3 reportedly gets greenlit for Fall 2025

On Thursday, December 19, 2024, many reports online claimed that Spy x Family Season 3 is scheduled to start airing in Fall 2025.

The anime's second season was aired in the Fall 2023 anime season between October and December 2023. In addition, CloveWorks and WIT Studio also released Spy x Family Movie: Code: White in December 2023, in Japan. This movie was later released worldwide in 2024. If the reports that are circulating online are true, Spy x Family Season 3 is set to air two years after the second season started premiering.

While the social media accounts that have posted the alleged announcement have a good reputation amongst anime fans on X, none of them have shared a credible source for the news. Therefore, it can only be presumed that the reported news is a leak from Shueisha.

While there is no way to confirm it, the information leak could either be sourced back to Jump Festa 2025 announcements or the upcoming Weekly Shonen Jump magazine set to publish on Monday, December 23, 2024.

Unfortunately, no further information has been reported by the suspected leaks. Hence, fans will need to wait until the anime makes an official announcement during its Red Stage at Jump Festa 2025.

WIT Studio and CloverWorks have yet to confirm what story arcs the upcoming Spy x Family Season 3 will adapt. However, evidence from the previously unveiled announcement visual has suggested that the anime will adapt the remainder of the WISE arc, Friendship Schemes arc, and the Red Circus arc.

Hopefully, the same gets confirmed by the announcements made on Saturday, December 21, 2024, on Day 1 of Jump Festa 2025.
