Tasokare Hotel anime reveals January 2025 release date and ending theme song

On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, REMOW informed Sportskeeda Anime via email correspondence about the official main trailer for the Tasokare Hotel anime. The trailer unveiled and previewed its ending theme song and performer. Tasokare Hotel will premiere on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Tasokare Hotel, as previously explained by the anime, follows the story of Neko Tsukahara, a girl who wanders into the Tasokare Hotel with no memories. She must unravel the mystery of her stay. In the meantime, she starts working at the hotel and gets entangled in the stories of those around her.

Tasokare Hotel anime unveils main trailer

On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, REMOW unveiled the official main trailer for Tasokare Hotel anime. According to the trailer, Tasokare Hotel will premiere on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, on TOKYO MX, in Japan.

Meanwhile, fans outside of Japan will be able to watch the series on numerous streaming services such as Prime Video, It’s Anime YouTube Channel, Tubi, Plex App, Anime Onegai, TVING, bilibili, Anime Key, etc. in over 100 countries and areas.

As for the trailer, it opens with Neko Tsukahara speaking with Atori Haruto about the possibility of her death. Seemingly, every guest at the hotel had lost their real face alongside their memories. Hence, if they were to restore their memories, they would also regain their real faces. The hotel staff did just that as they helped guests recover their memories. Upon learning about the hotel, Neko requests the hotel manager to allow her to join the staff.

The trailer then showed glimpses of Neko helping other guests restore their memories. Amidst this, the anime revealed another vital piece of information - "If you kill anyone in the hotel, you'll end up in Hell." Moments later, the trailer suggested that Neko is seemingly set to mistakenly kill someone and be sent to Hell.

In addition, the anime trailer also revealed and previewed the ending theme song for the series. The ending theme song for the anime will be called "Twilight" and will be performed by Rib. As revealed by REMOW, Rib seemingly worked with Eve to compose this song.

Rib expressed his feelings:

“I was deeply moved to be able to work with Eve, again in this way. I sang the song with all my heart. I hope you enjoy the usual, bittersweet stories that take place in Tasokare Hotel, along with our music.”

Eve added:

“I am honored to be able to contribute a song to such a wonderful anime project. Once again, I am very happy to have the opportunity to work with Rib, a long-time friend and respected singer. I hope you will enjoy his singing and the song presented.”

Furthermore, REMOW also revealed that Tasokare Hotel is set to receive a stage play adaptation and webtoon adaptation. The stage play will run from April 24 - May 4, 2025, at Hikosen Theater in Ueno, Tokyo.

As for the webtoon, it will be serialized at comipo and Dlsite comipo available only in Japan at this point.

Lastly, REMOW also hosted a world premiere for the anime at Anime Frontier on December 6. This premiere only featured the first three episodes but left the audience wanting more. They were intrigued by the series and wanted to see the rest of it when it premiers in January 2025.
