Unfortunately, The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper anime has yet to reveal any streaming information for the series, both domestically in Japan and in overseas regions. Considering the anime’s premiere comes in just under a month from now, fans can expect this news to be shared sometime in the coming weeks.

The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper anime adds more staff ahead of premiere

As mentioned above, The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper anime is officially set to premiere in Japan on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 9 pm Japanese Standard Time (JST). The series will first air on the AT-X channel at this time. This will be followed by broadcasts on Tokyo MX at 10:30 pm JST, followed by premieres on BS11 and Kansai TV on Friday, January 10 at 12:30 am and 2:55 am JST, respectively.

The newly announced staff members for the series include Cre–p Co., Ltd. in art setting, Masakazu Miyake as art director, Takuya Niwa as color key artist/compositing director of photography, Jun’ichi Masunaga in editing, and Masami Kitakata in sound effects. The anime’s ending theme song is Aikurafuto, which translates to Love Craft and is performed by the music unit Kiminone. Asaka is performing the opening theme song of Give & Take.

The anime stars Junichi Suwabe as Ken’ichi, Kaede Hondo as Primura, Misaki Kuno as Anemone, Miyu Tomita as Myarey, and Yu Kobayashi as Nyamena. Character name spellings are unconfirmed as of this article’s writing, meaning they are subject to change later on. It is expected that this is the full starring cast list for The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper anime series but more could be added as the first season progresses.

Yoshihide Yuuzumi is directing the series at East Fish Studio, with Hiroyuki Moriguchi of East Fish Studio adapting original light novel illustrator Yamakawa’s character designs for animation. Masano Akkahoshi is overseeing the series scripts, with Ryo Tanka as the sound director, and Kujira Yumemi as the composer at AniTone.

The series will adapt illustrator Umiharu’s manga adaptation of author Hifumi Asakura and illustrator Yamakawa’s original light novel series of the same name. The light novel itself is an adaptation of Asakura’s original web novel series of the same name, serialized on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. The manga and original web novel have both concluded, but the light novels are still ongoing today.
