Your Forma anime announces April 2025 release, cast, and staff, with new PV and visual

On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, REMOW informed Sportskeeda via an e-mail correspondence about the upcoming Your Forma anime. According to the information provided, this sci-fi series is set to premiere in April 2025. Notably, the official staff has released a new promotional video and unveiled a key visual. Details regarding the show's cast and staff have also been released.

Your Forma anime serves as an adaptation of author Mareho Kikuishi and illustrator Tsubata Nozaki's eponymous sci-fi thriller light novel series. ASCII Media Works has been serializing the light novels since March 2021. Six volumes have been published thus far.


Your Forma anime's new teaser trailer confirms the April 2025 release window

On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, REMOW unveiled a new teaser promotional video confirming that Your Forma anime will be released in April 2025, i.e., Spring 2025. The anime's official website and X account have also shared a PV and visual. Notably, the staff plans to reveal a narrower release date in the future.

The short clip showcases the main heroine, Echika, diving into the cyber world as an investigative prodigy alongside her android partner, Harold. She is seen performing dynamic stunts set against a captivating setting.

The teaser PV is available in 15 language subs, including English, French, German, Italian, Latin American Spanish, Korean, Castilian, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, and others. Aside from showcasing Echika and Harold, the video previews their voices.

According to the official staff, Kana Hanazawa has joined the voice cast of Your Forma anime as Echika Hieda. Meanwhile, Kensho Ono, a renowned voice actor, will voice Harold W. Lucraft. Comments from the respective voice actors have arrived on the anime's site and X account, where they mentioned how they look forward to the series.

Additionally, the staff shared a comment from Mareho Kikuishi, the original author. Kikuishi-san revealed the anime will pick up the adaptation from volume 2 of the light novels, offering fans a fresh look at how Eina and Harold's relationship as investigators blossoms in a "vibrant" world.

Aside from the PV and cast information, the official staff has unveiled a teaser visual for the Your Forma anime. The illustration depicts Echika and Harold standing back-to-back, highlighting their bond as partners. They are connected by a cable that serves as their lifeline for the "Brain Dive" process.

Takaharu Ozaki directs Your Forma anime at Geno Studio, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu in charge of the series scripts. Chikashi Kadekaru is credited as the character designer, while Tatsuya Kato is composing the music for the series. Twin Engine is producing the anime.

Based on Mareho Kikuishi's novels, the sci-fi anime is set in an alternate near future where a miraculous smart thread, called Your Forma, is implanted into human brains to record everything they hear, see, and feel.

Echika Hieda, an electronic investigator, embarks on a mission to dive into people's memories to hunt for evidence and solve crimes. Yet, since she's adept at her job, no assistant can keep up with her. Eventually, the officials appoint Harold Lucraft, an android, as Echika's partner.
