One Punch Man chapter 210: Empty Void's past reveals his relationship to Blast's wife

With the release of One Punch Man chapter 210, the manga finally decoded the relationship between Empty Void and Blast's wife. The previous chapter's events confused fans over why Empty Void's memories featured Blast's wife. Fortunately, that was one of the first things the manga confirmed with its latest chapter.

The previous chapter saw Empty Void try to defeat Blast, Sonic, and Flash with his Dimension Slash. But surprisingly, Saitama was in the vicinity and caught hold of both of Void's Dimension Blades. The manga later saw Blast trying to merge with Void hoping to stop him. While he failed, he saw a glimpse of his wife in Void's memories.

One Punch Man chapter 210 opened with a fight between Empty Void and what seemed like one of the monsters created by God. The monster addressed Empty Void as his master and prepared an attack to kill him. Just then, Blast, who was in the vicinity blasted away his hand using his Dimension Cannon. This development created an opening for Empty Void, during which he beheaded the monster.

According to the manga, these events took place 15 years before the establishment of the Hero Association, hence Blast was an independent hero. He was looking for the mysterious cubes when he happened to stumble upon Empty Void's fight. As per Void, the monster was his disciple who had been turned into a monster. Thus, he wanted to join Blast to avenge his disciple and kill God.

With that, Blast and Empty Void joined forces to find the mysterious cubes. Nevertheless, Void was doubtful about Blast's intentions. Hence, he had his sister "Luna of the Moonlight" get close to Blast to learn more about him and the scientist working for him. Thus, she began a relationship with Blast with a new name Maya. As time passed, Maya married Blast and had a son with him, Blue.

Unfortunately, after a while, Luna passed away in a battle. While Blast did not seem like he suspected Luna, the timing of her death seemed suspicious to Void due to its timing. She had gotten close to learning about Blast's scientist when she passed away. Hence, Empty Void suspected Blast of having deliberately let his sister die.

Nevertheless, Empty Void continued working with Blast to learn more about God. However, during one such expedition, he came in contact with a mysterious cube. This incident saw him visualize his sister Luna and his dead disciple. Luna expressed that she had been assigned a new mission, far more important than being a ninja.

Lastly, the manga also showed a glimpse of Saitama gazing at the Dimension Blades. He seemingly wanted a box cutter to open boxes from online shopping, so he did not mind having them.
