Princession Orchestra anime reveals April 2025 premiere and more cast with new PV
On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account for Princession Orchestra anime unveiled the second promotional video. The short clip confirms the show's April 2025 debut, additional cast, and the opening theme song. Additionally, the staff has unveiled a new key visual for the series.
Princession Orchestra anime is an original project aimed at children and adult audiences. Produced by Silver Link, the series will primarily revolve around music, anime, and toys. Additionally, the series will explore fantasy elements. The anime was green-lit for production in June 2024 with a new website and X account.
Princession Orchestra anime's new trailer confirms the April 2025 release window
According to the second promotional video shared by the official staff on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, Princession Orchestra anime will be released in April 2025, i.e., in Spring 2025. However, the staff has yet to reveal the full broadcast information and the exact release date.
Notably, the latest trailer features Minamo, Nagase, Kagari, and other important characters who will play a crucial role in the series. The short clip contains many vibrant action scenes and gives fans a glimpse of what to expect from the series in general.
Additionally, the PV reveals and previews the opening theme, Zettai Utahime Sengen (I Declare Myself a Total Diva) performed by Orcheria, a music unit featuring Princess Ripple (VA: Azusa Aoi), Princess Meteor (VA: Azusa Tachibana), and Princess Zeal (VA: Yuri Fujimoto).
Besides the trailer, the official staff unveiled a key visual for the Princession Orchestra anime. The illustration depicts the princesses, Nagase Ichijo, Kagari Shirobe, and Minamo Sorano in all their grandeur. The visual sparkles with vibrant colors and has a tagline in Japanese, which reads as the following in English:
"Passion and meteor — Ripples spread across wonderland."
Additionally, the staff has announced new cast members for the fantasy anime. Hiro Shimono has joined the voice cast as Nabiiyu, an Alicepian who protects the Kingdom's peace with the Princesses. Chiaki Kobayashi stars as Callisto, a member of the mysterious Snatch Band.
Shoya Chiba has also joined the anime as Giita, while Juniya Enoki plays the role of Besu. Besides them, the other new cast member includes Shunsuke Takeuchi, who voices Doran. Notably, Giita, Besu, and Doran are described as Snatch Band members, along with Callisto.
Princession Orchestra anime stars Asuza Aoi as Minamo Sorano aka Princess Ripple, Yuri Fujimoto as Kagari Sakibe aka Princess Zeal, and Azusa Tachibana as Kagase Ichijo aka Princess Meteor.
Staff and the plot of Princession Orchestra anime
King Records and ARIA Entertainment's UNISON brand are credited with the original work, with Takara Tomy sponsoring the show. Akifumi Kaneko is listed as the original planner, while Noriyasu Agematsu from Elements Garden is the executive producer.
Shin Onuma directs the musical fantasy series at Silver Link Studios, with Manta Aisora in charge of the scripts. Mari Shimazaki has designed the original characters, which Yukiko Akiyama is using for animation. Elements Garden is credited as the music composer.
Princession Orchestra anime is set in a mysterious country called Alicepia, which has existed since ancient times. The inhabitants of Alicepia thrived in peace, but everything turned to horror after the arrival of mysterious monsters called Jamaock. Undeterred by the despair, the "Princesses" emerge and sing the songs of courage.
