The episode began with Serizawa being ambushed by one of the assassins. He was in an inebriated state. However, that didn’t slow him down as he made a quick work of his opponent. Meanwhile, Hajime took down the shinobi with ease, and the remaining members of Miburo nabbed the last assassin. He was a coward who challenged Nio. The latter was resolved to win, and that alone was enough for his opponent to submit.
Following this, the men regrouped at Aizu’s castle and revelry ensued shortly. Meanwhile, Nio takes some time to show respect to the fallen men. He encountered one of Aizu’s men, who thanked him for showing compassion and strength. Nio was happy to see that his actions had a positive effect on society.
