The episode then shifts to Rak's group facing off with Beta. Laure deduces that Beta must have a parasite inside him and attacks, successfully extracting Medina. Rak tries to grab it, but Beta is quicker. However, Yihwa uses her fire to target Medina, burning it away while it's still in Beta's possession.

Taking advantage of the distraction, Wangnan begins summoning Baam, while Rak pulls Wangnan free from Beta's hold.
