What is Jilliel in Bleach TYBW? Everything to know about Lille Barro's Vollstandig form

One of the highlights of the latest Bleach TYBW episode, titled Don't Chase a Shadow, was Lille Barro's Vollstandig form, Jilliel. The Sternritter X, who happens to be the leader of Yhwach's Schutzstaffel, revealed his Holy form against Shunsui Kyoraku, the new Captain Commander of the Gotei 13.

After opening his left eye a third time, Lille Barro awakened the quintessence of his true power, X: The Axis. He proclaimed himself the Messenger of God since he was the first Quincy to be bestowed a Schrift. Shortly after that, the Sternritter activated his Vollstandig, Jilliel.

According to VIZ Media's official English translation of Tite Kubo's manga, Lille Barro's Jilliel is called the Divine Judgement. Besides that, his Vollstandig is slightly different than the rest, as it has certain forms. Given how the Sternritter's X-Axis is an overpowered ability, his Vollstandig takes it a notch higher and endows him with God-like powers.

Exploring the different forms of Lille Barro's Vollstandig, Jilliel, in Bleach TYBW

The first form of Jilliel in Bleach TYBW

Aside from the partially manifested state, Lille Barro's Jilliel has three forms, as shown in the manga. The latest Bleach TYBW episode, Don't Chase a Shadow, has revealed only the first form.

After awakening the actual potential of his X-Axis, Lille Barro activated his Quincy: Vollstandig form, Jilliel, which gave him an angelic appearance. In this state, Lille Barro is covered by a priestly robe with several holes at the upper and the lower portions.

The Sternritter gets eight green wings, four on each side, each having three holes. In a cocooned state, Lille gains white lines on his face and a massive Heiligenschein above his head.

According to Bleach TYBW, Lille can alter the appearance of his Jilliel to some extent. For example, when Shunsui Kyoraku activated his Bankai, Lille Barro descended to a rooftop after fraying the ends of his robe into centaur-like feet.

Whilst being in his Holy form, Lille Barro's powers are astronomically increased. He can use his eight wings to either remain stationary or fly. His Spiritual Pressure skyrockets, allowing him to confront strong enemies head-on. Moreover, Lille retains the X-Axis power in his Vollstandig form.

In other words, no physical attacks can harm him in this state, and his shots can't be dodged. The way Lille demonstrates his attacks is also changed. Since he doesn't have his Diagramm weapon in Jilliel form, Lille can shoot from the holes in his wings at the speed of light.

According to Bleach TYBW, Lille Barro can produce a light blast by firing six shots from his wings at once, which is enough to destroy a large portion of a city. Besides that, he can teleport from one place to another with ease. The Sternritter used this ability to catch Shunsui, who retreated to a farther location.

The second form of Jilliel in Bleach TYBW

Lille Barro's Vollstandig, Jilliel, is special as it grants him access to a second and more sinister form. While the latest episode of Bleach TYBW hasn't revealed it, in the manga, Lille Barro enters a second form after surviving Shunsui's Bankai.

Entering the second form allows Lille Barro to regenerate any missing body parts, including its head. That's how he survived the fourth act (Itokiribasami Chizome no Nodobue) of Shunsui's Bankai in Bleach TYBW.

In the second form, Lille Barro gains a fair-skinned head, similar to a human being. However, he gains an eyes and a beak, resembling an owl. The Sternritter's Heiligenschein above its head is reduced in size. Additionally, the sinister appearance is accentuated by an elongated neck with white fur on its back.

According to Bleach TYBW, Lille Barro's eyelids open and close horizontally in the second form of Jilliel. At the same time, he can manipulate the size of his head, depending on the situation. Like an owl, he can move his eyes to any location.

Most importantly, the Sternritter loses his humanity and turns into a being that transcends realism. His wings no longer appear angelic but look almost like a bat's wings. Besides, his shoes extend horizontally, as he appears like a Centaur.

Coming to powers, according to Bleach TYBW, Lille Barro can regenerate limbs and create long arms out of himself. His Spiritual Pressure rises through the roof, enforcing his Godly presence. In the manga, Shunsui's Zanpakuto spirit, Ohana, felt the Captain Commander had no counter against Lille Barro, so she urged him to escape.

Lille Barro truly becomes the embodiment of Divinity in this form, as he can't be damaged either by swords or Spiritual Pressure. He can only be dealt with by having his own power reflected back at him. Lille Barro's near-invincibility reaches its peak in the second form, where he considers every sinner powerless before him.

With renewed strength, the emissary of God can demonstrate Sabaki no Komyo (Ray of Judgement), a wave of energy generated from his forearms and hands. These energy waves can pierce through cities, rendering everything to dust. At the same time, he can create a large trumpet from Reishi to fire a gigantic blast of energy, capable of destroying cities.

Weakened state, a third form of Jilliel in Bleach TYBW

The third and final form of Jiliel in Bleach TYBW is probably the weakest one, as it's the result of Lille Barro losing his Heiligenschein or the Halo above his head. Devoid of the Godly powers, Lille Barro's shards reform into weakened versions of the second form, without the giant and the halo.

In this weakened form, Lille Barro's clones appear like a flamingo-like bird, with short wings, elongated necks, and legs. However, the heads remain the same as the second form. Yet, these Lille Barro clones aren't harmless, as they can fire energy blasts, powerful enough to kill low-level Soul Reapers.

They can also successively fire these blasts by rapidly spinning their heads around. However, these energy blasts can damage them, if they are attacked while being formed. Lille Barro considered the third form as a disgrace since he fell from his heavenly grace.

Conclusion

Lille Barro's Jilliel in Bleach TYBW is one of the strongest Vollstandig forms among the Quincies. The Quincy truly becomes an emissary of God, boasting powers that make him close to being invincible. That's why, his fall from grace was an ironic twist in the narrative.
