Bombayla Devi ousted from Women's archery

Roman Aida of Mexico,  put a stop to Bombayla Devi Liashram in the Women’s individual Archery event. After a confident win in the round of 64, Devi struggled to find the mark against the mark in the round of 32.

Roman Aida hit three perfect 10s in the first set and Devi could only manage a 8,9,7.

Devi took advantage of Aida’s mistake at the start of second set and won it closely by one point.

Aida took the match away from Devi and she picked up four points by winning the next two sets.

Liashram was part of the Women’s archery team that lost the first round to Denmark and today she will retire her bow and string till the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
