Rio Olympics: Archer Dipika advances in women's individual event

Rio de Janeiro, Aug 11 (IANS) Dipika Kumari defeated Kristine Esebua of Georgia in the 1/32 eliminators of the women's individual archery competition of the on going Rio Olympics here.

Dipika, placed 12th in the world rankings, displayed excellent form to defeat the higher ranked Esebua 6-4 at the Olympic Shooting Centre here on Wednesday.
