Bolt targets 2014 Commonwealth Games
BARCELONA - Olympic champion and world record holder Usain Bolt now wants to add Commonwealth Games gold to his medal haul after the Jamaican superstar revealed on Friday that he intends to run in Glasgow in 2014.
“I don’t think it will a problem with my schedule,” said the double-triple Olympic champion who has never raced in a Commonwealth Games.
The 26-year-old, however, admitted his first priority was to reclaim his world 100m title he lost to compatriot Yohan Blake in 2011 after being disqualified for a false start in the final.
“For 2013, the objective is to go as fast as possible and win the 100m title at the world championships in Moscow,” he said.
