Neeraj Chopra at Diamond League Final: Preview, start list, event timing, and where to watch in India

India’s athletics star Neeraj Chopra will be in action in the upcoming Diamond League Final 2024 in Brussels, Belgium, which started on September 13.

The two-time Olympic medalist secured his qualification for the elite event after finishing fourth in the overall Diamond League standings, despite taking part in only two out of four meets in the year. Neeraj opted to skip the Zurich meet in light of his injury problems as he had already guaranteed himself a place in Brussels.

This year’s Diamond League Final will be crucial for Neeraj as he will attempt to improve upon his performances from last year’s outing. In the Diamond League Final 2023, Neeraj had to settle for second place with a best throw of 83.80m behind Jakub Vadlejch of Czechia (84.24m).

Neeraj will look to recreate his performance from 2022 when he pipped Vadjlech to the title win and claim another major title in his stellar career in the form of the Diamond League Final 2024.
