WATCH: Noah Lyles features in Emily in Paris-themed video for Olympics 2024

American athlete Noah Lyles was recently featured in a brand-new Emily in Paris-themed NBC promotional video ahead of the Olympics 2024. The video featured the Netflix series’s main lead, Lily Collins, reprising her role as Emily Copper to pitch a unique track attire for Lyles.

100m and 200m world champion Noah Lyles will be running as the American favorite in the Paris Olympics in July. With his impeccable performances in the last few years, the 26-year-old has gained immense popularity. His appearance in NBC’s latest promo, in collaboration with Netflix’s hit show is NBC’s strategic step to stir excitement for the upcoming Olympics.

On January 13, the NBC Olympics and Paralympics shared the hilarious new promo on its X (formerly known as Twitter) handle.

The video starts with Emily imagining Noah Lyles in a shimmery golden cape and piles of jewelry around his neck while standing on the Olympic track. She pitches the athlete’s outfit idea to officials in the NBC boardroom, who seem to be very concerned with it. An excited Emily says in the video:

“Noah will be wearing legendary designer Pierre Cadault,”

Listening to Emily’s ambitious ideas, the boardroom asks her if the outfit would be safe for Lyles to compete in. To this, Emily replies with a dash of embarrassment:

“Um, yes, it has been tested. It is safe,”

She added:

“Maybe not for the other runners, but we’re just talking about Noah!” she says laughingly nervously.

The video then cuts to Lyles running in the 100m race with his humongous cap that simply swipes away other athletes running against him. Emily imagines Lyles winning the race while popping a bottle of champagne in the boardroom and screaming “Vive Noah!” “Vive Olympics!”

The promo ends with Noah Lyles reading his magazine outside the boardroom in his flashy golden outfit when Emily excitedly tells her:

"So we need to go bigger,"

A sporty Lyles replies to her:

"I can do bigger!"
