Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2024 Points Table: Updated Standings after June 30
The third day of the Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2024 (team event) ended with some thrilling results in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. A total of 15 nations are competing in the event, with eight teams advancing to the knockout stage.

After their exceptional performances, China and Chiese Taipei moved to the quarter-finals, where they will lock horns. On the other hand, Malaysia and India also advanced to quarters and will compete against each other.
The United Arab Emirates and South Korea will take on each other in the knockouts while Japan and Indonesia moved to the quarter-finals and will cross swords on Monday, July 1.
Group A
Moving to Group A, Thailand locked horns with South Korea on Sunday, June 30, and the latter came out on top with a 4-1 scoreline. Thailand bowed out of the competition following their poor performance.
South Korea topped the standings in Group A with two consecutive wins, bagging two points. On the other hand, Chinese Taipei are second with one point, winning one and losing the other game of the Badminton Asia Junior Championships.
Group B
Meanwhile, Macau defeated Kazakhstan by 4-1 in the first game of the day in Group B. Malaysia steamrolled the UAE by 5-0 in the other game.
Malaysia ended the group stage with three valuable points, bagging three consecutive wins. On the other hand, UAE bagged two wins and lost the other, picking up two points. Macau and Kazakhstan were holding the wooden spoon.
Group C
In Group C, Vietnam bagged a 4-1 win over the Philippines in the first game of the day. On the other hand, Indonesia stunned India by 4-1 in the day's second match.
Indonesia and India made it to the knockouts from this particular group, accumulating three and two points, respectively. Vietnam and the Philippines ended in the bottom two positions in the Badminton Asia Junior Championships.
Group D
Moving to Group D, Singapore bagged a thrilling 3-2 win over Hong Kong on Sunday while China also secured a 3-2 win against Japan in the last group-stage encounter.
China and Japan advanced to the knockouts from Group D, picking up three and two points, respectively. Quarter-finals are scheduled on Monday in the Badminton Asia Junior Championships.
