Badminton action returns to the courts of Jiangsu with the BWF China Open. Taking place between September 17 and 22, the competition will bring in almost all of the superstars of the badminton world, guaranteeing fans an exciting week ahead.

For Indian badminton enthusiasts, a live stream of the China Open will be available on the Jio Cinema app as well as the BWF YouTube channel, BWF.TV. While the big shuttlers of the nation are taking a break from the post-Olympic action, there will be plenty of Indian players to watch out for.

Leading the country's hunt for a title will be the women's doubles duo of Treesa Jolly and Gayathri Gopichand. The duo will open their campaign on Wednesday (September 18) against Chinese Taipei's Hsieh Pei Shan and Hung En-Tzu. A win against the Taiwanese will result in a clash with the Korean pair of Jeong Na Eun and Kim Hye Jeong.

Elsewhere, after the withdrawal of HS Prannoy and Lakshya Sen, youngster Priyanshu Rajawat will be the one to watch out for in the men's singles event. The Indian will begin his outing in China against Brian Young of Canada and will likely run into Olympic silver medalist Kunlavut Vitidsarn next.

Outside of Indian players, the action on the courts of the Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium will feature heavyweights like Shi Yu Qi and Viktor Axelsen in men's singles, while the likes of Tai Tzu Ying and Akane Yamaguchi will battle it out in women's singles.
