3 endearing moments between Aaron Judge & wife Samantha ft. her key role in securing slugger's historic $360M Yankees contract

New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge has been married to Samantha Bracksieck since Dec. 2021, after the duo exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Maui, Hawaii. However, the MLB power couple knows each other from their time at Linden High School in California.

Even their next destination was together, with both going to Fresno State to continue with their professions. While Judge would go on to be drafted by the Yankees in the first round of the 2013 MLB Draft, Bracksieck continued with her studies in kinesiology, completing her Master's in 2017.

The couple, who have been together since 2014, have created many memories, some of which we will take a look here:

Since making his debut with the Yankees in Aug. 2016, the current captain went on to etch his name in history with several records. One special moment arrived when he smashed his 62nd home run against the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field on Oct. 4, 2022.

With that, Aaron Judge set the record for most home runs in a single season by an AL player. It was after he hit his 61st home run that Aaron Judge gave major props to Samantha during his historic season.

“My wife has been with me through it all and she’s calm as a cucumber, that’s for sure,” Judge said of Bracksieck via The Post.

Following his historic season in 2022, Judge entered the free agency with talks regarding an extension on a standoff between him and the Yankees.

That's when Samantha helped him make the call. Instead of contemplating much about it, Bracksieck asked Judge to call owner Hall Steinbrenner and tell him how much he wanted to stay with the franchise.

"The discussions with New York were really not going anywhere. She was like, "Just call Hal up." Tell him how you feel. Tell him what you believe," Judge said on the Casa de Klub podcast.

Judge went on to sign a blockbuster nine-year, $360 million deal with the franchise in Dec. 2022.

"Thank you to everybody, my wife, Samantha," Judge said during a press conference after signing. "(My wife and I) came to the decision that was in our hearts, which is we belong in New York, we belong in this city."

The decision turned out to be great, as Judge would go on to be named the captain of the team, the first time the franchise has designated someone with the pedigree since Derek Jeter vacated the role after his retirement in 2014.

3) Aaron Judge and Samantha Bracksieck tied the knot in 2021

The most endearing moment of their relationship was when they wed each other in the presence of their loved ones on Dec. 13, 2021. At the Montage Kapalua Bay Resort in Maui, Hawaii, Samantha walked the aisle to exchange vows with Aaron Judge.

Judge's Yankees teammates, including Gary Sanchez, Luis Cessa and Gleyber Torres, attended the private ceremony.
