The MLB All-Star Game or "Midsummer Classic" is an annual event since 1933 that brings together the best players from the American League and the National League.
The players are selected through the voting process. This year, the player with the most fan votes in the American League who will be starting the All-Star Game is New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge.
In the National League, Philadelphia Phillies’ Bryce Harper received the most fan votes and will start the All-Star Game. Judge has made six All-Star appearances while Harper has been an eight-time All-Star.

#1 Hank Aaron - 25
Hank Aaron nicknamed "Hammerin' Hank" has been a 25-time MLB All-Star throughout his career in the major leagues. He has played for 23 seasons, mostly in the National League, and is considered one of the greatest baseball players.
During his career, Aaron had a batting average of .305, averaging 163 hits, 32 home runs and 99 RBIs per season. He holds the MLB records for the most career RBIs (2,297), extra-base hits (1,477), and total bases (6,856).
#2 Willie Mays - 24
Willie Mays is just behind Hank Aaron in terms of MLB All-Star appearances, with 24, in his 23-year career. After starting his baseball career in the Negro Leagues, he played in the National League throughout his major league career.
Mays won the Gold Glove award a remarkable 12 times and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979, in his first year of eligibility.
#3 Stan Musial - 22
Considered one of the most consistent hitters, Stan Musial was a 24-time All-Star. He played all the 22 seasons of his career with the St. Louis Cardinals.
During his career, Musial batted .331 while setting records for career hits (3,630), RBIs (1,951), games played (3,026), at-bats (10,972), runs scored (1,949) and doubles (725).
#4 Mickey Mantle - 20
Former center fielder Mickey Mantle spent his entire major league career with the New York Yankees, earning 20 All-Star appearances. He was a three-time American League Most Valuable Player and a seven-time World Series champion.
Throughout his career, Mantle batted .298 while accumulating 2,415 hits, 536 home runs, 344 doubles and 72 triples.

Cal Ripken Jr. is a former shortstop and third baseman who spent his entire career with the Baltimore Orioles. Over his 21-year career, he made 19 All-Star appearances.
Ripken holds the record of 2,632 consecutive games played, a record that remains unbroken. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007 with an impressive 98.53% of votes.
