Zach Britton headed back to DL with left forearm strain
Baltimore Orioles All-Star Zach Britton is heading back to the disabled list with a left forearm strain.
This is the second trip the 2016 MLB Cy Young candidate has made to the disabled list this year after already missing more than two weeks this season with the same injury.
The Orioles said Britton's placement on the DL is retroactive to Friday.
When Britton, 29, is on the mound he is virtually unhittable as the closer for the Orioles. Over his last three seasons, he 88 saves in 92 opportunities and has not blown a save in the last two years all the while striking out 160 with just 36 walks.
The Orioles have placed LHP Zach Britton on the 10-day disabled list (retroactive to May 5; left forearm strain).

Brad Brach will be the closer in Britton's absence once again. He is six for seven in save opportunities so far this season and currently leads MLB with scoreless outings this 12.
