In February 2017, former San Francisco Giants star Aubrey Huff released a book called "Baseball Junkie" co-written by Stephen Cassar. In the book, he spoke candidly about his debilitating gambling addiction, which affected his family life.
Huff became addicted to Adderall late in his career and contemplated suicide after battling depression. He also gambled a tremendous amount of money.
