"Excitement level on 1000" - Alex Bregman's wife Reagan Elizabeth thrilled by son Knox's baseball bat fun
For Alex Bregman of the Houston Astros, one of the silver linings of his team's early elimination from postseason contention is the added time available with family.
This offseason, Alex and his wife Reagan will have their hands full with their three-year-old, Knox. Recently, Reagan took to Instagram to show off Knox's budding passion for baseball, as well as his adorable behavior.
In the caption, Reagan claimed Knox's "excitement level on 1000" as he paraded around holding his bat.
The pictures came from the Louisiana State University Baseball Office. Alex Bregman played his college baseball at LSU before making his MLB debut. Other notable MLB LSU grads include Kevin Gausman, Aaron Nola, and Pittsburgh Pirates phenom Paul Skenes.
After meeting at a dinner party hosted by mutual friends, Alex Bregman and Reagan married in late 2020. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in marketing, Reagan has kept herself busy. In addition to her roles as wife and mother, Reagan has launched an athleisure apparel brand called Exiza, among other endeavors.

After a bumpy start to the season that saw him hit just .221 for the first two months of the season, Bregman ended up hitting .260 with 26 home runs and 75 RBIs for the Houston Astros. Now in the midst of a contract offseason, Alex Bregman's five-year, $100 million deal with Houston expired at the end of the season.
Reagan and Alex Bregman appear to be a perfect match
Whether it is participating in various charity schemes or bonding over their shared commitment to Knox, Alex and Reagan are certainly a team. In 2021, Reagan Bregman told The Knot about what makes her husband so special:
"I love Alex's heart and how he'd give the shirt off his back to anyone, he makes everyone feel included and happy — that's admirable and hard to find."
This October will be the first one in several years that Bregman is not playing baseball. Although he would undoubtedly like to be on the field, perhaps the young family can use the opportunity to lengthen the time spent together.
