On the heels of a career season, Josh Naylor of the Cleveland Guardians is now in offseason mode. Although the 2025 season undoubtedly remains top-of-mind, the first baseman has also hit some personal milestones.

On Sunday, Naylor's fiancee Chantel Collado took to Instagram to celebrate. Marking one year of marriage between herself and Naylor, Collado's wordy compilation on Instagram said of the 27-year-old Cleveland star 'I love you and I am so grateful for you.'

A native of the Toronto suburb of Mississauga, Ontario, Naylor met Collado, who was also born in Toronto, several years ago. Known as "Chantel", Collado is a Dominican vocalist who has garnered some 790,000 streams of her songs on Spotify. She and Naylor were engaged in June 2023 before getting married in late 2023.

For Josh Naylor, the 2024 season was one of high highs and some stinging lows. With 31 home runs and 108 RBIs during the regular season, the 250 lb infielder had the best hitting season of his career. However, it was not ultimately enough, as his Guardians met their end at the hands of the New York Yankees in the ALCS.

Despite being drafted by the Miami Marlins back in the 1st round of the 2015 June Amateur Draft, Naylor made his MLB debut in 2019 and has been a member of Cleveland since 2020. In 2024, Naylor hit .243/.320/.456 while posting the most home runs and RBIs of his career.

Naylor is joined on the Cleveland Guardians roster by his younger brother, Bo Naylor. While they came close to bringing the Fall Classic ball back to Cleveland this fall, the Naylor brothers will head back to the drawing board in 2025.

Josh Naylor is seen as the future of the Cleveland Guardians

Despite their ALCS elimination, the Guardians gave fans plenty to be proud of in 2024. Among the sources of pride was the play of Naylor. As Guardians president of baseball operations Dave Antonetti told ESPN about Naylor:

"Our expectation is Josh will be an anchor on our team in 2025 and who knows, hopefully beyond that, at the same time, he's a really good player and I imagine there will be other teams that will call us and ask about a variety of guys and that's naturally what happens over the course of the winter"

While he may be celebrating his wedding anniversary, fans in Cleveland will expect a lot from Josh Naylor in 2025. As one of MLB's most intense competitors, there can be no doubt as to whether or not he will be ready.
