Although it has been over three seasons since Carlos Correa played for the Astros, the star shortstop still makes his home in the Houston area. Recently, the All-Star enjoyed a family outing to a local pumpkin patch.

With fewer than ten days to go before Halloween, Correa teamed up with his wife Daniella to deliver an unforgettable experience for their sons, Kylo and Kenzo. On Daniella's Instagram, some snaps were shared of the family enjoying some time together, and inspecting the pumpkins against a backdrop of fall colors.

Born and raised in Laredo, Texas, Daniella was named Miss Texas USA in 2013 when she was just 16 years old. Daniella met Carlos Correa during the latter's days playing for the Houston Astros. The pair were married in 2019, and welcomed sons Kylo and Kenzo in 2021 and 2023 respectively.

After the Astros were defeated by the Atlanta Braves in the 2021 World Series, Correa decided to seek new pastures. In early 2022, the Puerto Rican inked a three-year deal with Minnesota. Although he opted out of his contract, Correa and the Minnesota Twins reached a new agreement in 2023 worth $200 million over six years.

After helping the Twins win their first postseason series in two decades last season, injuries limited Carlos Correa's playing time in 2024. In 86 games this season, the 30-year-old hit .310/.388/.517 with 14 home runs and 54 RBIs.

Carlos Correa shoulders blame for disappointing 2024 Twins season

After holding onto a postseason berth for most of the season, Minnesota buckled in the dying days, and eventually missed the postseason by four games. After the end of the season, Correa claimed to be taking responsibility for the underwhelming result, telling Fansided:

"I’ll have to sit at home for a couple of days and just go through everything that happened in the year, If you have anybody to blame, blame me for going down for two months and not being a part of the team. I think that’s one of the main reasons."

A three-time All-Star and former Rookie of the Year, Correa will need to be in vintage form if Minnesota fans expect a different result in the 2025 MLB season.
