Inside MLB All-Star Marcus Stroman's $8,000,000 Malibu mansion, laced with serene ocean views and an infinity pool

According to multiple sources, free agent pitcher Marcus Stroman has agreed to terms with the New York Yankees. This is expected to be a two-year deal worth $37 million, with the option of a third year. Given that Stroman has played in the MLB for a long time now, having made his debut in 2014 with the Toronto Blue Jays, he has earned a fortune in contracts.

As such, Stroman is no stranger to luxury property, which his $8 million Malibu mansion can attest to. This beautiful house comes with around 1.5 acres of land and is in a gated community above Carbon Beach. The Mediterranean-style property has a Roman feel to it, with a terracotta roof, and has expansive ocean views.

This 5,100-square-foot house has 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and comes with a detached 1-bed, 1-bath guesthouse. There are multiple dining and living rooms, a spacious kitchen, a wine cellar, and of course, a swimming pool. The property also includes deeded rights to the La Costa Beach and Tennis Club.

Stroman gave fans a short video tour of the property, which has had further medication since, back in 2018:

Marcus Stroman's MLB accolades, career earnings and net worth

Marcus Stroman was selected 22nd overall by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2012 MLB draft. He made his debut in 2014 for the team and earned $17.955 million (via Spotrac) before being traded to the New York Mets in 2019.

Stroman played for the Mets up to and through the 2021 MLB season, earning $22.507 million with the team before signing for the Chicago Cubs in December 2021.

With the Cubs, Marcus Stroman earned $50 million in two seasons, bringing his career earnings to $90.463 million. Stroman's net worth is estimated to be $7 million, but as he is set to earn $37 million across two years with the New York Yankees, that number should rise.

Stroman was one of the best pitching options available in free agency at the time of signing and is a two-time All-Star and Gold Glove Award Winner. He was the World Baseball Classic MVP in 2017 and made the All-World Baseball Classic Team in the same year.
