Kevin Frandsen decided to become a free agent and walk away from $900,000. He did not remain a free agent for very long. Frandsen was signed today by the Washington Nationals with $900,000 guaranteed, with a chance to make $300,000 more. MLB.com recently picked the Washington Nationals the team to beat in the NL East this season. If the Nationals can stay healthy this year they could be correct.
