There are just a few weeks left in the MLB regular season and sluggers are not slowing down. Some clubs will depend on some of these hitters to carry them to a postseason spot.
With some intriguing matchups on the horizon, things could really shake up here. So today we predict the top 10 hitters in the league and where they may stack up in week 25.
MLB Power Hitter Rankings Predictions - Week 25
10. Jose Ramirez
Jose Ramirez and the Cleveland Guardians are having a great season. He leads the way with his 34 home runs this season and the club has some favorable upcoming series.
9. Brent Rooker
Brent Rooker has been a star for the Oakland Athletics. While coming off an All-Star year last season, he has parlayed that into a career-high 35 home runs and counting this season.
8. Marcell Ozuna
Marcell Ozuna has stepped up for the Atlanta Braves with the club having to battle major injuries this season. With Ronald Acuna Jr. out for the season, he has delivered largely.
7. Franicsco Lindor
Francisco Lindor has the New York Mets looking like a true postseason contender. He has yet to miss a game and is three steals away from his second consecutive 30-30 season.
6. Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
While it has been a disappointing season for the Toronto Blue Jays, it has not been for Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Through 144 games, he is hitting .321/.394/.547 with 28 home runs and 94 runs batted in.
5. Yordan Alvarez
After a lackluster start, Yordan Alvarez and the Houston Astros are rolling. If the season were to end today, Alvarez would finish with a career-high .313 batting average which is impressive given what he has done since entering the league.
4. Juan Soto
Juan Soto has been elite all season long in his first year with the New York Yankees. Through 142 games, he is hitting .289/.418/.580 with 39 home runs and 100 runs batted in.
Soto has taken much of the pressure off Aaron Judge to perform, and the Bronx Bombers look great. They sit atop the American League East and have one of the best records in MLB.
3. Bobby Witt Jr.
Bobby Witt Jr. has been a joy to watch this season. He is having a careerr-year, hitting an MLB-leading .33 batting average with 30 home runs and 28 steals to back that up.
2. Shohei Ohtani
Shohei Ohtani has continued to impress fans all season long. He leads the National League with 47 home runs and counting alongside 104 runs batted in, and just recently entered the 40-40 club.
1. Aaron Judge
While Aaron Juge has not hit a home run in quite some time, especially for him, he still leads all MLB hitters in home runs by far. He has been a treat to watch, and the Yankees look like true contenders.
Expect him to find the barrel again and soon. You cannot keep Judge down for long, and he may be saving some of that power for the postseason.
