Bailey Ober has quietly been leading the Minnesota Twins this season. Across 24 starts, he has a 12-5 record with a 3.54 ERA, standing toe-to-toe with other top MLB arms.

#8. Framber Valdez

Framber Valdez has been on a roll as of late. He has won his last five games and has Houston looking like a true contender coming out of the American League West.

#7. Zack Wheeler

Zack Wheeler has been dominant for the Philadelphia Phillies, especially with Ranger Suarez on the IL. Across 25 starts, he has compiled a 12-6 record with a 2.73 ERA.

#6. Dylan Cease

Dylan Cease has been hard at work this season with the San Diego Padres. While coming off a loss to the New York Mets, he has been a reason San Diego is within striking distance in the NL West.

#2. Blake Snell

Blake Snell is on a tear right now. He had a no-hitter against the Cincinnati Reds on August 2 and has carried that momentum. This could have been a career-year, had he not signed so late.

#1. Tarik Skubal

Tarik Skubal is the clear favorite to win the AL Cy Young Award. he has been nothing short of spectacular this season for the Detroit Tigers.

He has been a tough at-bat for nearly the whole league this season, which has been a career year. He has started 25 games, putting together a 14-4 record with an MLB-leading 2.49 ERA.
