"A few years ago with the kids" - Vladimir Guerrero Sr. reminisces moment with Juan Soto, Fernando Tatis Jr. & Blue Jays superstar

Vladimir Guerrero Sr. has a lot to be proud of. He enjoyed a 16-year career in the big leagues, striking fear into opposing hitters with the amount of power he possessed.

He retired in 2011, but he still has his foot in the game. His son, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is currently following in his father's footsteps, hitting home run after home run for the Toronto Blue Jays.

Guerrero Sr. has been involved in his son's career nearly every step of the way and has enjoyed it. Through this, he has met and befriended the next generation of All-Stars from the Dominican Republic.

Vladimir Guerrero Sr. got his start in the big leagues after signing a deal with the Montreal Expos in 1993. He would quickly make his way through the minors, and made his MLB debut late into the 1996 season.

He quickly turned heads with how aggressive he was at the plate, but he would soon show off his defensive prowess as well. In 2001, Guerrero Sr. gunned Toronto Blue Jays slugger Alberto Castillo out at home in one of the greatest throws in MLB history.

This was just one of multiple insane throws Guerrero Sr. has made in the outfield over his career. That, in combination with his power, kept him at the top of his game for a long time.

He played for four teams during his career, most notably with the expos, but had a sting with the Los Angeles Angels, Texas Rangers, and Baltimore Orioles. He retired following the 2011 season and was voted into the Hall of Fame in 2018.
