Aaron Boone least bothered about MLB not taking disciplinary action against Alex Cora: "We got too much important things going on"

Boston Red Sox's manager Alex Cora has found a way to get into headlines yet again. However, he won't be disciplined by the MLB, and New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone is least concerned about it, with the road to the postseason intensifying.

On Sunday, after the game, Alex Cora indirectly suggested a deliberate attempt to hit Aaron Judge in the sixth innings by Red Sox right-hander Brayan Bello in response to Gerrit Cole stinging Rafael Devers in the first, which the Red Sox believed was intentional.

MLB looked into the matter with rumors claiming the failed attempt to possibly hit Judge was intentional, but they decided not to take any disciplinary action against the Red Sox manager.

When asked about it, Boone seemed least concerned about the entire incident as he said ahead of the game with the Mariners (via Gary Phillips):

"We're past this weekend. Chances are we're not going to play them anymore this year. We got too much important things going on in front of us right now to really get caught up in that.
"I'm sure Major League Baseball did what they thought was best and looked into it."

What did Alex Cora say about the intentional attempt to hurt Rafael Devers?

The weekend series between the Red Sox and the Yankees caught fire off the field with Alex Cora doubling down that Gerrit Cole hit Rafael Devers in the first intentionally.

“I wasn’t surprised at all because I felt like in the first at-bat, he hit him on purpose,” Cora said late Saturday. “He doesn’t want to face him. That’s the bottom line. We took exception to that because it was loud and clear he didn’t want to face him. After the intentional walk, we were like, ‘That’s what happened.’”
“It was intentional,” Cora added. “I’m not going to back off. That was intentional."

However, the comment that got attention was Alex Cora indirectly hinting to have made attempts to hit Aaron Judge.

“(The matter) was closed yesterday, like around the sixth inning,” Cora said Sunday morning. “We had our chance. It didn’t happen. We have to move on.”

Aaron Boone didn't like when he heard rumors of Cora's intentional attempt to hurt Aaron Judge.

“Yeah, that’s not allowed,” Boone told reporters. “That’s for somebody else to deal with. So we’re finished playing with them for now. So we’re on to Seattle now. But you can’t do that.”

Now that MLB's investigation has been completed, everyone can move on. The Yankees are on their way to make a deep run in October this season, and Boone isn't focused on things outside of baseball.
