Amid the highly-anticipated World Series matchup between the Yankees and Dodgers, Aaron Judge's wife Samantha, along with other players' wives and girlfriends, showed their support for New York. They were photographed sporting white Yankees caps with navy brims, matching the team's primary colors.
In the photo, Samantha held one of their pets, Penny. The Daschund, along with Aaron's other dog, Gus, has been an integral part of the couple's daily life.
"The wives and girlfriends (and dogs!) of Yankees players are heading out to support the team during the World Series," the MLB wrote on X.
With the first two games set in Los Angeles, it appears that Samantha and the other players' partners are traveling to the West Coast to cheer on the Yankees. The group photo was originally posted by Gerrit Cole's wife, Amy.
Cole is scheduled to start Game 1 of the World Series against Jack Flaherty. First pitch is scheduled for 8:08 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 25.
Aaron Judge heaps praise on Shohei Ohtani
The New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers faced the media ahead of the Fall Classic, and Yankees captain Aaron Judge was asked about superstar Shohei Ohtani, his counterpart in the series.
After acknowledging Ohtani's statistical dominance in the league, Judge said the Japanese was "the best player in the game."
"He's an impressive athlete, the best player in the game," Judge said.
