After his walk-off hit wins series vs Dodgers, Nolan Arenado delivers 2-word reaction to teammates' play before game-winner
Nolan Arenado hit a high flyball just inside the playing area in left field for a walk-off hit, helping the St. Louis Cardinals win the game 2-1 against the LA Dodgers. Interestingly, Arenado wasn't in the starting lineup and came in as a pinch hitter.
In the series opener against the Dodgers, the Cardinals had shut down the Dodgers for a 5-0 win.
"WALK-OFF SERIES WINNER," the Cardinals wrote in the caption.
After the game, Arenado posted a two-word message celebrating the heads-up play for the first run in the eighth inning by Masyn Winn. He termed the play as:
"Nasty Play."

Cardinals outshine Dodgers for second straight game, Nolan Arenado comes clutch
Both starters went the distance before handing the ball game to the bullpen. Erick Fedde of the Cardinals pitched 5.1 scoreless innings, allowing four hits and four walks against two strikeouts.
Meanwhile, for the Dodgers, Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched six scoreless innings, allowing four hits and two walks against nine strikeouts.
Alec Burleson scored the go-ahead single off Dodgers reliever Ben Casparius in the eighth inning. Shohei Ohtani scored the run in the ninth after hitting off Cardinals closer Ryan Helsley to begin and then reaching on a wild pitch.
Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol then asked Nolan Arenado if he wanted to finish the game.
"In the ninth, I asked [Arenado] if he wanted to end the game,” Marmol said. “He said, ‘Yes,’ and he did.”
Coming in as a pinch hitter, Arenado pinch-hit a walk-off RBI, driving in pinch-runner Jose Barrero.
The victory put the Cardinals at over .500 (36-28). This was the 19th time this season they have recorded a win against someone with an above .500 record. Moreover, they have won series against the best of the National League, including the Phillies (twice), Dodgers, Mets, Astros, Brewers, D-backs and Twins.
