Alex Bregman and son Knox hook special memories fishing together, captures joy of his two-year-old's first catch

Star third baseman Alex Bregman is making the most of offseason by spending time with his wife Reagan and son Knox after throwing his hat in the free agency market. The recent Gold Glove Award winner had a slow start to his 2024 MLB season but finished it with a bang, thereby making an effective case for his free agency.

But Alex would be least worried about the prospects of his next landing spot for the upcoming baseball season, as he spent some quality father-son time while going fishing in a nearby lake. Bregman shared an image of Knox proudly holding his first catch on social media.

Bregman married Reagan Elizabeth during the pandemic year in 2020 and met her for the first time at a group dinner in 2017. The duo immediately took a shine towards each other and knew that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

Their happiness grew further as they welcomed their firstborn, a son named Knox Samuel, on August 1, 2022. Since then, baby Knox had been accompanying his mother to most of Bregman's games inside Minute Maid Park, and though just months old, he celebrated his father's second World Series triumph with the Astros on the field in November 2022.

While the couple is gearing up to welcome another kid, Bregman's future in MLB hangs in the balance as different ballclubs are sprouting up, showing interest in the Gold Glover and signing his talents for the upcoming season of baseball. As per MLB analyst Bob Nightengale, Bregman's super agent Scott Boras confirmed various ballclubs' interest in his client.

Furthermore, he also shed light on Alex Bregman being ready to test his versatility in the infield by playing at second base in 2025, which is definitely going to make his free agency more appealing to the prospectful ballclubs, which currently include some of the biggest names in AL and NL.
