Alex Bregman and wife Reagan serve style and smile in chic winter jackets for a cozy mirror selfie

For Alex Bregman of the Houston Astros, the 2024 offseason will be a big one. As he mulls the specifics of his future in MLB, the All-Star third baseman is sure to hang on to those closest to him.

On Saturday, Bregman's wife Reagan took to Instagram to show off a mirror selfie with him. Clad in blue jeans and a sporty winter jacket, Reagan tagged Alex in the photo but did not add a caption.

A two-time World Series winner, Bregman's 2024 season ended after his Astros were eliminated by the Detroit Tigers in the AL Wild Card Series. While the early exit was far from what Bregman and his teammates desired, it left him with more time for his family.

Alex and Reagan Howard married in 2020, three years after first meeting at a dinner party hosted by mutual friends. In August 2022, they welcomed their son, Knox. In addition to her busy life as a mother, Reagan also designs jewelry and owns Exiza, an athleisure brand for women.

The 2024 season was redemption for Alex Bregman. After hitting .221 in the first two months of the campaign, he found his form. In the final two months, he hit .281 and finished with 26 home runs and 75 RBIs.

This offseason, his five-year $100 million deal with the Astros will expire. While the Astros have already extended a qualifying offer, nobody knows what the 2025 season will hold for Alex Bregman.

Fans want Alex Bregman to remain in Houston

A member of the Astros since he made his MLB debut in 2016, Bregman won the first Gold Glove of his career in 2024. He talked about his selection during an interview with MLB.com.

“I just want to say ‘Thank you’ to every current and past coaches and teammates that have made this possible," Bregman said on Monday. "I’m pretty pumped and it’s an honor to win, especially with such great nominees from the American League.”

With a qualifying offer of $21.05 million for one year on the table, Bregman is expected to turn it down. Joining a team other than Houston is a real possibility for 2025.
