Alex Rodriguez's girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro attends Yankees game at the Bronx with MLB icon

Alex Rodriguez and his girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro are in New York a week after being spotted in LA. On Tuesday, Cordeiro posted a photo with A-Rod, seemingly before a workout session, and also a snap from inside Yankee Stadium.

A-Rod, a former Yankees star, is part of the Fox Sports Crew covering the ongoing NLCS between the Dodgers and the New York Mets. The first two games were split, with the teams heading to New York for Games 3 and 4 at Citi Field. A-Rod used this opportunity and attended Game 2 of the ALCS between the Yankees and the Cleveland Guardians.

Joining Alex Rodriguez on the trip to New York was Jaclyn Cordeiro, who also made time to watch the game.

Alex Rodriguez claims Yankees have the clearest path to World Series in 20 years

The New York Yankees are the most successful baseball franchise, with 27 World Series to their name, the last of which came in 2009. It's been 15 years since they defeated the Philadelphia Phillies to lift the crown and ever since, fans in the Bronx have been waiting for another one to arrive.

The Yankees were arguably the best team in the American League, finishing with the best record. They also charted an easy path into the ALCS with a 3-1 ALDS win over the Kansas City Royals.

Alex Rodriguez, along with the Fox Sports crew consisting of Derek Jeter, David Ortiz and Kevin Burkhardt, discussed the Yankees' World Series prospects.

"You don't have to say it, I'll say it — the Yankees have an easy road to the World Series," Rodriguez said on FOX Sports' postgame show after Game 1 of the NLCS. "It's never easy, but this is the clearest path in 20 years."

Even former Yankees captain and five-time World Series champion Derek Jeter shared a similar sentiment.

"You never want to say you have an … easy road to the World Series, but if the Yankees could pick and choose their [playoff] opponents," Jeter said. "I think they got the two that they would pick and choose because of their success against the AL Central."

The Yankees won Game 1 against the Cleveland Guardians to start the ALCS on a positive note as they eye their 28th World Series.
