Bobby Witt Jr. reacts to fiancée Maggie Black's "make him my husband" remark about Royals superstar

After a solid 2024 season, Kansas City Royals shortstop, Bobby Witt Jr. has been spending some time relaxing during the offseason. During this time, the Royals gathered to celebrate the wedding of their pitcher, Alec Marsh on Saturday.

Many Royals players attended the event with their partners, including Witt Jr., accompanied by his soon-to-be wife, Maggie Black. The beautiful couple wore chick outfits for the event, and Black even shared some of their photos on her Instagram with a playful caption:

The baseball star also reacted to Black’s post by commenting with a red heart emoji. The 2024 All-Star also shared the post on his Instagram story, tagging Black and adding a heart emoji.

Bobby Witt Jr. and Maggie Black to tie the knot later this month

Witt Jr.'s fiancee, Maggie Black, re-posted a story by Kyle Isbel’s wife, Priscilla Isbel. The image featured both women alongside partners of other Royals players, all wearing black dresses. The caption read:

Maggie Black also re-posted another story, this time shared by luxury wedding planners Alice and Apricot. The black-and-white image featured Bobby Witt Jr. with the caption 'Mr.' placed near him and the caption 'Mrs.' placed near her. The text in the image read:

'Soon to be.'

Their wedding is scheduled for December 14. The shortstop had a stellar 2024 season with the Royals, posting a .332 batting average, a .389 on-base percentage, and a .977 OPS.

In 161 games, Witt Jr. hit 32 home runs, had 109 RBIs, drew 57 walks, and stole 31 bases. Witt Jr. earned his first All-Star selection, the Gold Glove Award and the Silver Slugger Award, this season.
