Bobby Witt Jr.'s sisters Nikki, Kianna and Shaley turn heads in custom 'MY BRO IS PLAYING SOME BALL' outfits during ALDS Game 4 loss to Yankees
Bobby Witt Jr.'s Kansas City Royals lost the ALDS against the New York Yankees. Over 17 plate appearances, the Royals' rising star managed just two hits and scored once.
Witt Jr.'s sisters, Nikki, Kianna and Shaley were in attendance for Game 4 to support their younger brother. The trio sported custom outfits with the words "MY BROTHER IS PLAYING SOME BALL" printed on the T-shirts they wore.
Interestingly, Nikki's daughter also sported a custom t-shirt with the words "MY UNCLE IS PLAYING SOME BALL" printed on it. Kianna and Nikki shared the snaps of it on their respective Instagram story.
Witt Jr. is the son of Bobby Witt, who won a World Series with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2001. Witt Jr. is the youngest of four, all girls above him. The Royals shortstop revealed in an interview with MLB that he considered all of his sisters like his mother.
All three are married to former MLB players. Nikki, Kianna and Shaley are married to James Russell, Zach Neal, and Cody Thomas, respectively.
On the baseball front, some analysts blamed Witt Jr.'s nonexistent offensive contributions as a factor in the ALDS loss. This comes after he was touted as the only real threat to Aaron Judge in the AL MVP race.
Bobby Witt Jr. appeared visibly heartbroken following the Royals' loss to the Yankees in Game 4 of the ALDS. While his teammates headed for the clubhouse, the young shortstop remained in the dugout, staring at the Yankees celebrating.
