Carlos Rodon's wife Ashley takes up the challenge of convincing Yankees pitcher to swap his go-to tees for fashion-forward looks

Carlos Rodon's wife Ashley used to set the stage on fire with her early days walking the ramp. She's the person one turns to for fashion choices. Rodon, though, is rarely spotted wearing anything but T-shirts, which has Ashley on the edge.

The Yankees starting pitcher is fresh off a successful Game 5 appearance, where his 4.2 innings pitched for two runs helped the Yankees take a 5-2 win and the ALCS, booking a date with the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series which starts on Friday.

On Tuesday, Ashley shared the closet of the Yankees ace, which left her wondering about the pitcher's simple choices for outdoor wear.

The photo includes clothes on hangers, featuring a mix of casual T-shirts and more formal or stylish outfits. Several pairs of shoes, including sneakers and loafers, are lined up on the floor beneath the clothes.

"HOW TO CONVINCE YOUR HUSBAND TO WEAR HIS NICE CLOTHES NOT HIS TSHIRTS ... IN HOME PERSONAL STYLING APPOINTMENT OF HIS OWN CLOSET WE'LL SEE. BUT ALSO WHY I LOVE HIM," Ashley wrote.

By the caption, it seems Ashley Rodon is trying to encourage her husband to wear his "nice" outfits instead of his preferred T-shirts. However, in a later post, she wrote:

"Compromising is a key."

Ashley Rodon had their son Bo decked out in Yankees pinstripes as they arrived at Yankee Stadium to watch Carlos Rodon pitch the Yankees to the World Series.

The game went into extra innings where a clutch three run home run from Juan Soto in the 10th innings off Guardians' Hunter Gaddis gave the Yankees the lead and eventually the series.

After the game, Ashley and her son Bo went down to the field, joining in on the celebration with Carlos Rodon. The family posed so that Bo can remember he was there if he forgets later.

"Bringing the kids is hard just because it's late late nights. But I am so thankful I have this photo for him even if he can't remember late in life," she wrote in her story.
