Corey Seager's wife Madisyn celebrates as Rangers star hosts hitting clinic after regular season

Corey Seager and the Texas Rangers' season ended earlier than many would've anticipated as the defending World Series winners failed to make the postseason this year.

While the Rangers failed to defend their crown, the two-time World Series MVP failed to even see out the regular season for his team after requiring a second sports hernia surgery within a year.

Despite his surgery, Corey Seager held his second annual hitting clinic for the the Texas Rangers Youth Academy in West Dallas. Corey's wife Madisyn shared an Instagram story to highlight the All-Star slugger's clinic for 20 youth athletes with the help of hitting coach Seth Conner.

The two-time World Series winner reflected on what it meant to him, imparting knowledge to the young players and giving back to the community.

He said:

"Something we just enjoy, being able to give back and be around a younger side of baseball that has just enjoyment and fun. It brings back the game for me and it brings back to just being a kid and enjoying it instead of it being a job."

Corey Seager enjoyed his time off the field in Dallas

Corey Seager and his wife Madisyn are an integral part of the Texas Rangers community, given their charity events and constant support for others in the community.

"Just enjoyed it. Had a bunch of fun meeting different kids and being around," Seager said later in the video. "It's just something that we like to give back and we found something that we enjoy doing. It's a win win for us."

Corey Seager underwent a hernia surgery in the offseason after his heroics to help the Rangers to their first World Series title in 2023. The recovery saw him miss almost the entirety of the Spring Training ahead of the 2024 season.

However, the star slugger is expected to recover and be ready for the 2025 Spring Training. The Rangers sorely missed his productivity from the plate in an injury-riddled season and will hope to get a healthy version in 2025.
