Francisco Lindor's wife Katia reacts as $341,000,000 worth star's back-to-back homers secure Mets' victory over Marlins
Mets ace shortstop Francisco Lindor produced a multi-home run game on Monday in the series finale against the Miami Marlins, and his wife Katia Lindor celebrated the same by uploading multiple stories on her Instagram account. The Mets won the contest 6-4 at Loan Depot Park to share the spoils of the four-game series, crediting Lindor's two solo home runs.
Katia has always been supportive of Francisco's professional career and was in a celebratory state after his amazing at-bats on Monday. Take a look at her reactions here:
In an exclusive interview with the New York Post in 2022, Francisco Lindor explained how he came across Katia for the first time and how their romantic affair began, as he said:
"I messaged her on Instagram. Her picture popped up and I was like, 'This girl is beautiful!'"
He further added:
"We talked for three months and then I met her in Arizona 'cause I was out there for spring training. We just hung out and I was like, 'I think she's the one.' At first, I was a little bit like, 'Ahh, I don't want to really commit,' but I knew that she was the one."
On November 4, 2020, the duo welcomed their first daughter together and named her Kalina Zoe. After Kalina's birth, their love grew even further as they decided to tie the knot a year later, on December 16, 2021, at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, Florida.
The couple was blessed with another daughter on June 17, 2023, and named her Amapola Chloe. Katia is a podcast host and launched her podcast, 'The Un-a-Parent', in August 2022, which discusses the unsaid and unapparent truths about parenting.
The duo continues to grow together, as Katia has been a towering figure in Lindor's professional baseball career and is actively spotted inside Citi Field during game days.
Francisco Lindor opened up about compatibility and communicating with wife Katia Lindor
In an interview with Haute Living, Francisco Lindor reflected on communicating with his wife and what the duo had learned about each other over the years. he said:
"We can be right next to each other, watching a dumbass show, and that's quality time. Her quality time looks different, but I have learned to be able to communicate and say, 'Hey, I need, I need some time, some quiet time, all to myself.' And she understands."
The happy family of four currently reside in Queens, where Francisco Lindor has been playing baseball with the NY Mets since signing a massive 10-year, $341 million contract in 2022.
