Freddie Freeman's son Charlie's face lights up after finding his dad's card during a recent pack opening
Los Angeles Dodgers star Freddie Freeman is all about his family. The eight-time All-Star is married to Chelsea, and the two share three sons, Charlie, Brandon, and Maximus.
Freeman can often be seen ahead of games hanging out with his kids on the field. Baseball is a big part of their life, but it is not just playing that has hooked the family.
Opening packs of baseball cards have returned to the mainstream over the years with fans, content creators, and pro players ripping packs. The Freeman family is no different here as Charlie was seen ripping packs in an Instagram story by Chelsea, where he found an awesome surprise.
"Charlie pulled 'Daddy' out of his deck of cards for the first time," wrote Chelsea Freeman.
Charlie found his dad's card for the first time and will likely hold onto it for quite a while.
Freddie Freeman is looking to add to his World Series ring collection
Freddie Freeman already has a World Series ring. He won it in his last season with the Atlanta Braves in 2021. However, he would certainly love to add another to his collection this season.
The Dodgers are just one game away from advancing to the World Series. They lead the New York Mets in the NLCS 3-2, and they have all the momentum.
The Dodgers came into the season being the top team on nearly everybody's list. They were dubbed the World Series favorites after signing Shohei Ohtani to a blockbuster $700 million contract along with Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Tyler Glasnow in the offseason.
If they do not win the World Series, it will be likely viewed as a disappointing season. Neither the fanbase nor the players want to go into the offseason feeling like they wasted a prime opportunity.
