Freddie Freeman's wife Chelsea reacts to Dodgers star husband's most consecutive homers in World Series history
LA Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman's wife, Chelsea, was in the Bronx for Game 4 against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. This could be the game where the Dodgers win it all, as they already have a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series, and Freeman's two-run home run in the first inning gave it all the more reason.
Freeman has been the hottest hitter this World Series. He has struck homers in all four games this World Series. Moreover, he also hit two home runs for the Atlanta Braves in their final two games of the 2021 World Series. The two home runs from 2021, coupled with four to start this series, have resulted in Freeman hitting six straight home runs in the World Series.
The first baseman broke George Springer's record for most consecutive home runs in the World Series. Chelsea took to her social media, hyping her husband's heroics, who is playing through a bad ankle but has been the Dodgers' best asset this World Series.
"MOST CONSECUTIVE HOME RUNS IN WORLD SERIES HISTORY," she wrote.
She also shared a stat from live broadcast which highlighted how Freddie Freeman was better than the Yankees offense alone.
"Freddie Freeman with six straight World Series games with a HR," she wrote.
Freddie Freeman's wife Chelsea joins LA Dodgers wives and girlfriends in their trip to NYC
With the Dodgers potentially clinching Game 4 and sweeping the Yankees in the World Series, the wives and girlfriends of Dodgers stars made a trip to East Coast to be with their partners when they potentially lifted the title.
The LA Dodgers wives social media account shared a post earlier on Tuesday, posing in a hall at Yankee Stadium.
"GAME 4, LETS GET DOWN TO BUSINESS!! βΎοΈππ" the caption read.
Chelsea Freeman also shared snaps from her time in Game 4. She was with her son Charlie, who was decked all out in Dodgers gear. Chelsea was seated beside Mookie Betts' wife, Brianna, at the stadium.
Interestingly, she even posted a Halloween pumpkin in her post with Yankees named engraved on it. They'll likely cut it once the Dodgers are done with them.
