Freddie Freeman's wife Chelsea unveils surprising 'new hobby' that brings her closer to nature

Freddie Freeman and the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated rivals San Diego Padres in Game 5 of the NLDS on Friday to seal their spot in the championship series. While Freddie and the Dodgers are gearing up to face the New York Mets in the best-of-seven championship series, his wife, Chelsea has found a new hobby to keep her busy.

Chelsea shared a post in her Instagram story where she was feeding a hummingbird with a bird feeder.

"My new hobby, feeding hummingbirds," Chelsea captioned her story.

Freddie and Chelsea will celebrate their 10th marriage anniversary in November this year. The duo share three sons. Charlie Freeman is the eldest of the three, followed by Brandon John and Maximus Turner.

Although Chelsea shared a new hobby with her fans, she often keeps herself busy traveling back and forth with their children to support the Dodgers first baseman. She was at the ballpark for all the five NLDS games, including the two games away in San Diego at Petco Park. Freddie Freeman's wife Chelsea shared positive update on son's health

Freddie Freeman and his family went through a lot over the last couple of months after their youngest son Max was diagnosed with a rare neurological disease, Guillain-Barré syndrome, in August.

Max spent almost a week in a pediatric ICU and continued his recovery at home. The youngest of three suffered a paralysis attack that restricted his ability to move or walk.

Chelsea Freeman shared a positive update earlier this week, confirming that Max has started to walk and showing faster recovery than previously anticipated by the doctor. She wrote on IG:

"Max's neurologist is VERY VERY VERY happy with how he is progressing. Today was the first time Dr. Crawford got to see Max walk. We are still waiting for his reflexes to come back, but that usually takes the longest. A few weeks ago, we were talking about getting Max fitted for leg braces.
"But he is doing so great that we might be able to bypass them. With the help of lots and lots of PT, Max is getting closer and closer to being his normal rambunctious self. Again, thank you all so much for the prayers and well wishes for our family."
