Garrett Cooper, wife Erica & daughters steal the spotlight in color-coordinated attire during recent Christmas photoshoot
Former Boston Red Sox first baseman Garrett Cooper is spending quality time in the offseason with his family as he awaits an offer from MLB teams since he's a free agent. In the meantime, his family, which includes his wife, Erica, and two daughters, Reagan Olivia and Peyton Collins, got together for a click.
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Reagan, in March 2022 and became parents again in June 2024, giving birth to Peyton.
On Sunday, the family sang holiday cheer and striking color-coordinated outfits for a holiday post. Cooper is wearing a cream or light beige short-sleeved, button-up shirt paired with black pants. Erica is dressed in a light beige or cream dress with short sleeves.
Reagan, who was being held by Cooper, wore a brown dress with long sleeves, paired with black shoes. Meanwhile, newborn Peyton was dressed in a patterned beige and brown outfit with a white bow headband.
"Happy Holidays from our crew to yours 🫶🏻," Erica wrote in the caption.
Garrett Cooper & family go on vacation to Hawaii
Every year, the Cooper family goes on a retreat following a grueling 162-game baseball schedule in the MLB regular season. Several baseball players, especially those who are not contracted for a long term, miss severe time with family from March to October. Garrett Cooper, being a girl dad, makes up for it by going on vacations in the offseason with them.
This year, Cooper took his family on a vacation to Maui, Hawaii. In the photos he shared three weeks ago, his elder daughter Reagan enjoyed some quality time playing on the beach while being adored by Cooper and Erica.
On the baseball front, Cooper, who signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs in February, made the team's opening-day roster. After 12 games and hitting .270, he was optioned to the minors to make a place for Patrick Wisdom on the active roster.
In late April, he was traded to the Boston Red Sox. For his new team, he played 24 games slashing .171/.227/.229 batting line with five RBIs. In June, he signed a minor league deal with the Baltimore Orioles but became a free agent after the completion of the season.
