Garrett Crochet's wife Rachel makes feelings known after leaving White Sox for Red Sox; Michael Kopech, Nicky Lopez and Andrew Vaughn's spouses react

On Wednesday, news broke of the Boston Red Sox having reportedly traded for highly sought-after starting pitcher Garrett Crochet from the White Sox. The 25-year-old had a fine 2024 season, finishing the season with a 6-12 record, a 3.58 ERA and 209 strikeouts, one of the shining lights of an otherwise terrible season for the Chicago White Sox.

All set to make the move from the windy city to Boston, Garrett Crochet's better half, Rachel Crochet, took to Instagram to bid the city farewell.

"A bittersweet farewell to the best city we've ever known. Thank you for everything Chicago 🤍" Rachel Crochet captioned her Instagram post.

Despite her husband's best efforts, it was a season to forget for Rachel Crochet and others of a White Sox persuasion, as the team had the worst season in modern major league history, finishing the campaign rock bottom of the AL Central with a terrible 41-121 win/loss record.

For Garrett Crochet, who earned a first All-Star cap in 2024 owing to his consistent performances, a huge reason for many of the losses on his record for the season was the misfiring offense, who often failed to provide any run support to the man on the mound.

With the Red Sox boasting an exciting offense including the likes of Jarren Duran and Rafael Devers that issue should be taken care of at Crochet's new home in the 2025 season.
