"Go crazy William" - Will Smith's wife Cara celebrates as Dodgers star joins elite club with clutch three-homer game against Brewers
Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith blasted three home runs in the Dodgers' 8-5 win in the series opener against the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday. It brought the club's season record to 54-35, keeping them at the top of the NL West division.
Smith joined the elite company of legendary catchers Roy Campanella, Mke Piazza and Yasmani Grandal to be the fourth catcher in franchise history with three home runs in a single game. He's also the second Dodger to do it this season, after Max Muncy did it in May against the Atlanta Braves.
Cara Smith, Will Smith’s wife, shared her husband’s impressive feat on Instagram with the caption:

Smith gave the Dodgers an early lead by scoring home runs in the first and third innings. However, in the fourth inning, Willy Adames' RBI single and Rhys Hoskins’ grand slam tilted the game. But the Dodgers made a comeback in later innings and won the game.
Will Smith went 3-for-3 with three solo shots, raising his stat line to .276/.349/.502 and his OPS to .851 in 73 games. He has recorded 53 RBIs and 14 home runs, solidifying his chances of being selected for the Midsummer Classic as a reserve candidate, which will be announced on Sunday.
Will Smith’s Foundation hosted elementary kids at Dodger Stadium
Will and Cara Smith founded the “Catching Hope Foundation," a non-profit charity organization, in 2021 to foster youth development and guide underprivileged children through education and health awareness.
The couple hosted an event with the Clifford Elementary School students at Dodger Stadium in May. They organized fun outdoor exercise drills and an all-inclusive clinic with STEM-based activities. Dodgers’ Alex Vesia and Kyle Hurt also attended the event.
The Smith couple met during their old days at the University of Louisville back in 2015. After years of dating, the duo got engaged in 2019 and exchanged vows a year later. In 2022, they welcomed their daughter Charlotte.
