"He hits a home run straight to us" - Ryan O'Hearn's wife Hannah shares happy coincidence of husband's homer landing near her seat
An unbelievable coincidence happened on Saturday’s match between the Baltimore Orioles and the Chicago White Sox. Ryan O'Hearn had hit a home run that had landed just a few rows from his wife, Hannah O'Hearn.
Hannah O'Hearn, Ryan O'Hearn's wife, shared this moment on Instagram. She had just moved to the right field stand when the home run dropped near her.
“Moved to right field and he hits a home run straight to us” Hannah captioned her story.
She even posted a picture with Ryan in which he was holding a signature plate with his name O’Hearn on it.
“O’ homer,” Hannah's IG post caption read, indicating the unbelievable home run that her husband had hit.
Ryan O’Hearn had a great outing on Saturday with the Orioles. He, Anthony Santander and Jordan Westburg hit consecutive home runs in the five-run eighth inning.
Ryan O'Hearn hit the home run against the pitch delivered by Jordan Leasure of the Chicago White Sox. He hit a long fastball on a slider after fouling off five straight pitches. The Orioles bested the White Sox by 5-3.
"To be able to finish off an at-bat like that with a homer, we hadn't had much going on all day. To be able to get some runs on the board, kind of get the ball rolling there, is awesome." O'Hearn said in a post-match interview. (as per CBS News)
Ryan O'Hearn is playing pretty well this season. He has hit seven home runs and has a batting average of .276. He has an RBI of 18 with a .831 OPS.
Another time when Hannah celebrated her husband’s home run hit
Hannah O'Hearn has been a constant source of support for her husband. This was not the only time she showed her support on social media. On May 3rd, Ryan O'Hearn had a great outing against the Cincinnati Reds when he launched a home run from the pitch delivered by Reds’ Emilio Pagan.
Hannah O'Hearn celebrated her husband’s homer on Instagram. She reposted a photo from Oriole’s Instagram handle and captioned it:
“Star Hard, Go Yard.”
Ryan O'Hearn helped the Orioles beat the Reds by 3-0 that day. They are second in the AL East table, just below the New York Yankees.
