"He's back" - Trevor Bauer's agent Rachel Luba celebrates pitcher's dominant inning for Diablos

Former LA Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer is firing both on and off the field. Currently playing for the Diablos Rojos del México in the Mexican League, the former Cy Young winner continues to build a strong case for himself to return back to MLB.

On Monday, his agent, Rachel Luba, shared Bauer's outing and a glimpse of it from the Estadio Victor Cervera Pacheco stadium. She was in attendance at the game and shared his stats online.

According to Luba's post, Bauer threw five scoreless innings and had eight strikeouts. On the picture she shared on her social media, she exclaimed:

"he's backkkk"

Off the field, Trevor Bauer blamed the MLB for discouraging teams from signing him. During an exchange with Nati Sports on social media, he said:

"Well one team told us it’s not their decision, it’s an MLB decision. One team told me I was “too expensive” even though I offered to play for minimum. Another team told us they have covered some stuff up in the past that they don’t want the media digging into to find out about," Bauer wrote on X.

He further doubled down on his statement alleging that MLB has told franchises not to talk about it:

"That’s a great question about MLB…it shouldn’t be their decision but apparently in certain cases it is…And all your coaches and players agree with that but…they’ve been told…"

Rachel Luba likes Zack Cozart's idea of Reds signing Trevor Bauer after Hunter Greene's news

The Reds are eyeing a postseason spot this fall but they were dealt with a bad news with their star ace Hunter Greene going to IL for right elbow soreness. This led former Reds shortstop to suggest team to sign their former ace, Trevor Bauer.

"If I were the Reds right now bc of the Hunter news I’d sign @BauerOutage and when Hunter comes back could have a chance … just saying," Cozart wrote on X.

Rachel Luba replied:

"Makes all the sense in the world…and the clubhouse players and coaches love him."

However, there has so far been no reported interest from the Reds to sign Trevor Bauer.
