"He's the man" - Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne recalls Travis Kelce's generous offer to 'hook her up' with Taylor Swift concert tickets
Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne was on LSU basketball star Flau'jae Johnson's "Best of Both Worlds" podcast, where she discussed an array of topics. Pop star and "Blank Space" singer drives immense popularity among fans, and Dunne is seemingly one of them. Swift and Travis started publicly dating last year during the Chiefs' regular season games. Since then, Swift has been a regular feature alongside the tight end on and off the field.
During one segment of the podcast posted on Friday, Flau'jae Johnson asked Olivia Dunne to choose a power couple between Jonathan Owens-Simone Biles and Braxton Berrios-Alix Earle. Being a gymnast, Dunne chose Biles. She even picked Biles-Owens over Patrick-Brittany Mahomes and Dwyane Wade-Gabrielle Union.
Finally, when Johnson brought in the most hyped power couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Olivia Dunne left behind Biles and Owens.
"Travis Kelsey is super nice, like he's actually the man, he's a good guy," Dunne said. "He was so chill. He was at one of the photo shoots I was at this summer, and he was like, 'Well, if you or Paul ever need tickets to a Taylor concert or need a hookup, just let me know.' I was like, 'Are you kidding me? No way!'"
Dunne is such a Swiftie that she picked the NFL power couple over Sierra-Russell Wilson, Victoria-David Beckham, Ayesha-Steph Curry and Savannah-LeBron James. However, she picked her partnership with Paul Skenes over Kelce and Swift.
Olivia Dunne recalls how she met Paul Skenes at LSU
During the same conversation, Flau'jae Johnson asked Dunne how she first met MLB pitcher Paul Skenes and how the LSU love story brewed.
"I met Paul, and I would kind of see him around, and I was like, 'Who is this tall, mysterious guy?'" Dunne said. "I literally had no clue who he was, but I would just see him around. Then, during baseball season, he wasn't even playing that game; he was in the dugout.
"So, I saw him in the dugout, and I was like, 'There he is.' I thought, 'He's cute, I like that side profile.' He didn't have a mustache yet, so he wasn't even the Paul Skenes that we all know and love yet. Mustaches, right? Right. So after that, I ended up following him, and we hung out, got ice cream, and it was chill."
Both Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes have known each other since their time in Baton Rouge. Skenes would lead LSU to a College World Series win last year before being picked first overall by the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Earlier this year in May, he made his MLB debut against the Chicago Cubs, and so far he has delivered on expectations, going 10-3 with a 2.07 ERA this season.
