Houston Astros vs. Milwaukee Brewers: Game Summary

The Houston Astros picked up a dominant 9-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday afternoon, salvaging the final game of the series. Houston wasted little time in getting the offense going, and their entire pitching staff did its job.

Framber Valdez was terrific on the mound for the Astros as he tossed seven innings, allowing just three hits and an earned run. Valdez was given an early lead to work with, and had little trouble making it stand.

Jeremy Pena was the big offensive star for the Astros on Wednesday afternoon as he drove in four runs for Houston. His three-run homer in the 6th inning was the decisive blow that put the game out of reach.

With the win, Houston moved to 18-18 on the season, while Milwaukee dropped to 19-19 with the loss.
