"I was like I don’t want to really commit" - When Francisco Lindor was unsure about his relationship with then-girlfriend Katia

Francisco Lindor and his wife, Katia have developed a beautiful relationship over the years. The couple married in 2021 and have two kids, but just recently announced that Katia is pregnant again.

The couple met over Instagram after Katia's picture came across his timeline. Lindor was in awe, and slid into her dm's in a chance to get to know her better. The two would talk for months before they met in Arizona while Lindor at camp for spring training.

After that, the two really kicked it off. Lindor was starting to think she could be the one, but he was a little hesitant to secure the deal, via the New York Post's Angela Barbuti.

"We talked for three months and then I met her in Arizona 'cause I was out there for spring training. We just hung out and I was like, 'I think she's the one.' At first, I was a little bit like, 'Ahh, I don't want to really commit,' but I knew that she was the one," said Lindor.

Lindor's heart was torn. He had a feeling that Katia was the girl he had been searching for, but still was not too sure whether he wanted to commit to the relationship or not.

Eventually, he would commit and the couple would go on to develop a strong bond. They gopt married on December 16, 2021 at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, Florida.

New York Mets star Francisco Lindor holds elite talent. He is a four-time All-Star, two-time Gold Glove winner, and a four-time Silver Slugger. Lindor is coming off a season where he started 152 games, hitting .273/.344/.500 with 33 home runs and 91 runs batted in.

Lindor explained that Katia does not play the violin as much as she used to. But, she still picks it up when she has the time, and continues to sound impressive.

"She doesn't do it like she was back in the day when she was doing four to five hours a day ... we have the baby now, but she still does two hours whenever she gets the time" said Francisco Lindor.

Motherhood takes up much of Katia's time nowadays. And that will only intensify after Katia's after Katia births their third child in December.
